Noreen Duffy is an academic, teacher, translator, poet, and writer living in Spokane, Washington. Currently, they are in the Masters in Initial Teaching program at Gonzaga University, with a concentration on ELLs and secondary Spanish. In 2019, they earned an MA in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from Greensboro College and did their thesis project on working with Deaf and hard of hearing English language learners. Additionally, they hold a certificate in Spanish/English Translation from the University of Massachusetts-Boston in 2017, a TESOL certification from North Carolina State University in 2013, and an undergraduate degree in Latin American Studies from The Evergreen State College in 2010. Noreen has worked domestically and internationally as a teacher and translator.
